    浙江省机电设计研究院有限公司铸造所设计制造的大规格铁模覆砂铸造生产线主要针对船用车用发动机曲轴、载重车桥壳、发动机缸体等较大铸件生产而开发的,促进了铁模覆砂铸造应用优先域的拓展。主要特点是铁模的尺寸和重量大,生产线设备刚性好,机械化程度高。
    那么,铁模覆砂铸造这个工艺设计主要解决了什么问题呢:
    ①铁模铁模覆砂铸造壁厚和覆砂层厚度及二者的配合,以满足不同壁厚和不同材质铸件对凝固和冷却的不同要求;
    ②便捷和经济的覆砂成型方法,以满足不同铸件对表面质量和尺寸精度的要求;
    ③工艺参数。如浇注系统、射砂系统、排气系统等的确定;
    ④批量生产的实现。例如生产线及覆砂主机和辅机的设计定型;
    ⑤工艺规程的制定,例如浇注、冷却和开箱等规程,以及铸件成分的调整等。
